Involving Violence - February 20 - April 11, 2009
We had a great opening last Friday for Involving Violence - part of School 33's Open Call for Curators. Curated by Karin Patzke and Carrie Ruckel, from Chicago, the show featured local Baltimore artists, as well as artists from Chicago.
Maggie Gourlay's show, Patterns of Dislocation, also opened last Friday in our members gallery. See photos of Maggie's opening in our next post. Patterns of Dislocation will be up until February 28.

Kids painting a MURAL!
Happy New Year...and Ground Hog Day. Hope your Inauguration Day was a joy, as was ours.
Here we have some beautiful images of children in our free after school art program, Bright StARTS, painting a mural at their school, under the tutelage of one of b'more's fine artist's, martha gatewood.
